Hands-on improvement support for practices and PCNs

Daniel , our CEO, continues to deliver in practice support under this programme. As part of the General Practice Improvement Programme a range of support is being provided to help practices and PCNs drive forward improvements in how they work.  The focus will be on helping practices and PCNs to have more control over their workload, maximise the use of all staff roles and local services, meet the needs of patients and provide safe, equitable care.

Practices can register for an introductory webinar and put themselves forward for:

  • Intensive: six months facilitated support – starting October 2023.
  • Intermediate: three months facilitated support – starting September 2023.

Primary Care Networks can access six facilitated sessions to get support in developing and agreeing a jointly-owned shared purpose, understanding of demand and capacity across the network, and identifying local solutions to issues. The next cohort will run October 2023 – March 2024 and PCNs can register for an engagement webinar on 9 August.

Places are limited for both support offers so practices and PCNs are encouraged to register for webinars asap.
