NHS England has published the public seasonal vaccinations toolkit to support the 2026/27 national flu programme. It’s aimed at helping practices, PCNs and other providers communicate the flu campaign to patients, with ready-made materials rather than each practice having to write its own from scratch.
For practice managers pulling together this year’s patient communications, it’s worth building this into your campaign planning now rather than later in the season — posters, social content and messaging templates are far more useful before your vaccination clinics start than once they’re already underway.
Worth doing this week: download the toolkit, check it against your practice’s existing flu communications, and slot the relevant materials into your website, waiting room screens, text messaging and social channels ahead of this year’s campaign.
