National Neighbourhood Health Community of Practice Webinar Brings Together Best Practice from Across England

NHS England recently hosted its latest Community of Practice webinar as part of the National Neighbourhood Health Implementation Programme, bringing together primary care, system leaders and healthcare professionals to share learning on neighbourhood health.

The session focused on how neighbourhood health is being delivered alongside a range of NHS England improvement programmes, highlighting practical examples of integrated working and local innovation.

Presentations included updates from several national programmes, including:

  • Prevention Accelerators
  • The Frailty Collaborative
  • Genomics

Attendees also heard directly from local sites about how they are embedding these initiatives into the delivery of neighbourhood health within their communities, offering valuable insights for organisations looking to strengthen collaborative, place-based care.

For GP partners, practice managers and Primary Care Networks, the webinar provided useful examples of how neighbourhood health is evolving across England and demonstrated how primary care continues to play a central role in delivering more joined-up, preventative and person-centred services.
