Funding is available for TNAs in general practice. Employers who start TNAs on the apprenticeship programme within primary care are eligible to be supported with an employer grant of £8,000 over two years (£4,000 per year) per TNA. Primary Care Networks can claim 100% of the TNA salary through the Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme, and employers may be eligible for up to £15,000 apprenticeship levy funding for the apprenticeship course costs.
