UKHSA and NHS England are hosting a webinar on winter vaccines communications from 2pm–3.15pm on Monday 5 October. It’s aimed at whoever handles patient-facing communications for this season’s vaccine programmes, rather than the clinical delivery side.
The session will cover how last year’s campaign performed, plans for this season, and updates on operational delivery of the vaccine programmes. There’s also a dedicated section on mis- and disinformation — worth attending for that alone, given how much of the noise around vaccine uptake now happens online rather than in the consultation room. Time is set aside for questions at the end.
